By cutting across the tree we create tree trunk slice tables, such as coffee tables, side and occasional tables celebrating the captivating end grain features, resulting in sophisticated bespoke feature pieces of furniture.

Alex Brooks Furniture: Designer & maker of freestanding solid wooden furniture
My main focus is to celebrate the life, story and innate beauty of the tree it is sourced from, to create feature pieces for home or commercial spaces. The website shows examples of coffee tables, side and occasional tables along with bespoke commissions.
We source our wood from local farmers and land owners, which are windfallen, responsibly and sustainably sourced. This approach is integral to our ethos of true sustainability of a small business within a community and eco-system.

UNIQUE WOODEN FURNITURE FROM DORSET
From our Dorset workshop we design, make and supply bespoke wood furniture to commission as well as the contemporary pieces that make up the Collections in our Portfolio.
Each piece of our solid wood furniture is unique & our products are based on the wind-fallen wood available at the time. All the wood is responsibly sourced from our own woodland and surrounding Dorset farmland.
