By studying the growth rings, we can see the tree is over 100 years old, likely planted by the Pass family who owned the manor and village at the time. The maple fell during a recent storm, and the current owners generously entrusted it to us for transformation into this unique piece of functional art.

Each growth ring tells its own story — marking seasons, weather events, and the natural stresses of a century-old life. These distinctive features are preserved in the table’s beautiful wood grain and natural edge, making every angle a conversation starter.
